Linda Mae (Appleby) Wood

Linda Mae Wood, age 85, of Grand Rapids passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 16, 2023 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Wood in 2012, her son David in 1996, and by her parents, Lyle and Helen Appleby. Surviving are her son, Mark (Theresa) Wood, grandchildren, Brandon (Kandra) Wood, Andrew (Amber) Wood, Bradley (Ashley) Wood, five great-grandchildren, Jazmyn, Tristyn, Adalyn, Annabelle, and Finley, daughter-in-law, Kristen (Wayne) Lake, and her siblings, Carol, Jean, David, and Mary. For the past 60 years she was a member of Forest Hills Bible Chapel and for many years she volunteered at Gideon International. Funeral Services will be held 12pm Thursday at the Forest Hills Bible Chapel, 4637 Ada Dr. SW. Interment will be at Blythefield Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to Forest Hills Bible Chapel or Bair Lake Bible Camp.
