Lisa (Elizabeth) Ann Beidler of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed peacefully from this life, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from pancreatic cancer. Lisa was born on May 12, 1961, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Marvin and Ruth De Winter. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin De Winter and father-in-law, Bill Beidler. She is survived by her husband Bradd, two daughters; Katherine Beidler (Matt Banister) and Emily Brasser (Isaac) two sons; Steven Beidler (Samantha) and Jack Beidler (Claire Golder); mother Ruth DeWinter; brothers Steve (Naomi), David, and Jim De Winter; mother-in-law Lora Beidler; sister-in-law Sherrie Beidler; her nephew, nieces and extended family.
There is simply no way to describe Lisa in mere words, especially those that will be printed only in black-and-white. Lisa lived a vibrant and creative life, filled with an abundance of color! A lifelong seamstress and fabric artist she shared her creativity by making custom clothing, colorful quilts and gifts for family and friends. Lisa also helped others discover their own creativity through teaching. Most recently at Smith-Owen Sewing and Quilting Center where she was beloved by both coworkers and customers. Lisa’s love for her family and friends was abundant and unconditional. Her laughter was unforgettable and her faith unshakable. We grieve deeply for the loss of her presence on earth, but we rejoice in the knowledge that her suffering has ended and she is in heaven.
