Margaret Fordham

Margaret Fordham, a resident of Cascade Township, died peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by Sheldon in 2010, her husband of 65 years.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Barbara (David) Lubbers; grandson, Jeffrey (Renee) Shand-Lubbers; granddaughter, Amy (Bryan) DePotty; and great-grandchildren, Noah and Lucy Shand-Lubbers; Owen, Samuel, and Rhys DePotty. Margaret will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 7495 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 on Saturday, May 20, 2023, 11:00 AM with a time for visiting with her family one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church or to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods. The family is being served by Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
