Marilyn Nestor

Marilyn Ann Nestor peacefully entered into eternal life on March 7th, 2021 surrounded by many family members.  She will be loving remember by her children; Don (Becky) Nestor, Nancy (Andy) Tabor, Sue (Rich) Terpstra, David (Michele) Nestor, Dan (Julie) Nestor, plus 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. 

She was born in Munising Michigan on November 14, 1928 and spent her youth in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where she loved skiing and skating.  She attended Michigan Tech and later Michigan State University where she met her beloved husband of 65 years Carl.  Marilyn "Mimi" spent the next several years raising 6 children and instilling her values of love of God, family and community. Upon her completion of her degree from MSU she pursued and became a dedicated educator in the Grand Rapids school system in many different capacities.

Her children and children's children will remember Mimi as a wise woman of faith with a great capacity for listening and understanding. Her love language was cooking, singing and sewing that she joyously and generously shared with family and friends.
