Mary Knee

Mary Elizabeth Knee, age 91, of Spring Lake, MI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Buchanan) Palmer, she was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 16, 1933. Mary was known for being well put together and for her infamous pink lipstick. She was always very social and together with her beloved husband, enjoyed the friendships of many. For many years they loved times spent boating on Spring Lake and Lake Michigan and sharing times with great friends and special neighbors in Spring Lake, West Olive and while wintering in Bonita Springs, FL. She cherished each and every relationship she was blessed to have had. Mary will be deeply missed by her daughters, Nancy Knee and Suzanne (Mark) Zeilbeck; her wonderful grandchildren, Steven LaTour, Michael Robert and Molly Robert. She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Cook and Charles (Diane) Palmer. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton of 63 years; and by her brother-in-law, James Cook. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.
