Nora Jane Jenneman passed away on November 21, 2025, at age 25.
Born February 9, 2000, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Nora was such a loving person: kind, beautiful, easy, with a passion for nature, art, sports and a terrific sense of humor. She was incredibly affectionate, good-natured and also developed a fierce competitiveness as an athlete.
She was an exceptional ice hockey player and gave us many thrills watching her play over the years. Living in Salt Lake City the past few years, Nora began to ski more frequently and quickly found a new passion as a member of the Westminster University Freeski team. She loved her teammates and spending time in the mountains training. She was so happy to find a home and family at Westminster where she was pursuing a career with a purpose to care for, guide and support others, which she had already begun to excel in as part of her daily life.
Throughout her life, Nora appreciated many different types of music and art. Her drawings are intricate, unique, thought-provoking and sometimes very intense. But always meaningful art.
Nora was brave in every way. Not only as a fearless athlete, but even more so in how she never missed an opportunity to stand up for herself or her beliefs, even when the consequences of doing so were certain.
Her unique style and creative mind attracted people from all walks of life. She impacted so many people and taught us an immeasurable amount about acceptance, love, behavioral skills and self-awareness. Nora filled our hearts with so much, and we pray that we will continue to feel her positive energy and spirit throughout our lives, and that she will continue to feel our everlasting love for her.
Nora is survived by her parents Robert and Stephanie Jenneman - Grand Rapids, Michigan and her brother Joe Jenneman, Nashville, TN along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and very loving friends she made on her short but memorable and meaningful journey here.
Visitation and Service will be at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The Visitation will begin at 1:00pm with a Service beginning at 3:00pm. All are welcome to join.
