Patricia Mary Reynolds, age 73, of Cascade passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 11, 1945 the daughter of Otto and Agnes (Burchardt) Horter. She graduated from Mount Mercy Academy class of 1963. She worked in banking, rising into management with Michigan National Bank. After retiring, Patricia enjoyed volunteering at Frederick Meijer Gardens and Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts. Patricia was an avid boater and a long-time active member of Riviera Yacht Club. In recent years she split her time between Michigan and Florida. Patricia was a parishioner of St. Robert of Newminster Church. On February 19, 1966 she married the love of her life, Gordon M. Reynolds, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Michelle and Daniel Lauer of Holland, MI, Melissa and Greg Cloon of Grand Rapids, MI; one son, Gordon Jr. and Kari (Scheidel) Reynolds of Lowell, MI; two granddaughters, Christine Haldaman and Lorrissa Reynolds; three grandsons, Billy and Bobby Cloon and Gordon Reynolds III; one sister, Terri and Carl Eves; one sister-in-law, Burnice Horter; one brother-in-law, Howard and Lora Reynolds; several nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Horter; her brothers-in-law, Randall Reynolds and Robert Reynolds; her sister-in-law, Patricia Reynolds; and her nephew, James Mann II. The mass of christian burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday September 10, 2018 at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Ada, MI 49301 with Fr. Len Sudlik as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at the Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home and one hour prior to the mass at the church on Monday.
