Patsy Ruth Lindquist, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the age of 89. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Charles and Alma Bacon. Patsy began her working career as a beautician after graduating from South High School, having worked in many salons before transitioning into sales and interior design until her eventual retirement. She is lovingly survived by her son, Paul Williamson; grandsons, Roger and Zachary Williamson; great-grandsons, Charlie and Sam; son-in-law, Don Brown; nephews, Chip, Mike, Patrick, and Jeff Staggs. She also leaves behind her special, longtime friend, Donna Buffin. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ken Staggs; daughter, Cindy Brown; and by her husband, Gerald Lindquist. A memorial service to celebrate Patsy’s life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, 1:00 PM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1025 3 Mile Rd. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505 where friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service at the church.
