Paul Staeven passed away on Wednesday March 24, 2021 at the age of 70. He was born in Grand Rapids on March 30, 1950 to the late Myron and Martha Staeven. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 50 years Rosa Staeven, daughters Tresa (Carl) Corbeil, Jennifer (Rich) Langridge, son Robert (Nicole) Staeven, grandchildren Alexander and Hunter Langridge, Pierce, Harper and McKenzie Staeven, sisters Mary Willcome, Carol (Steve) May, brothers Michael (Cathy) Staeven, George (Julie) Staeven and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his sister Barbara and brothers Dan, Roger, Dave and Tom.
Paul was honoured to be able to serve in the Army Reserve and his everyday interests were sports, candy and Coke. This was evident as he coached his children and was a die-hard fan of the University of Michigan, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers. What surpassed all things was his unconditional love for his family and the active role he played was indisputable. His quiet and gentle spirit will be deeply missed.
