Robert B. Feighner

Robert B. Feighner, age 95 of Grand Rapids, MI passed away Friday January 19, 2024 at Trillium Woods surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Russell, and grandson Daniel.  Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley, and his children: Mark (Janis) Feighner, Scott (Amy) Feighner, Cheryl Gillett, Christine Linabury, and Julie (Robert) Osbourne. 

Grandchildren: Jennifer (Paul) Kovacs, Steven (Jane) Feighner, Lauren (Christopher) Stetts, Jeffrey (Bambi) Feighner, Katherine (Josh) Ricca, Christopher (Colleen) Feighner, Bryan Feighner, Emma Feighner, Megan (Scott) Vogrig, Sarah (William) Petrovic, John (Emily Wilson) Linabury, Robert Linabury, Betsy Linabury, Zephyr (Clare) Osbourne, Benjamin Osbourne, David Osbourne, Derek Osbourne and nineteen great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.

Bob was born and raised in Middleton, MI. He graduated from Ferris Institute in 1951 as a registered Pharmacist. He founded, owned and operated Finer’s Drug for 45 years. Bob was a longtime member of Kiwanis of Grand Rapids, South Congregational and East Congregational Churches. He loved and adored his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Tuesday January 23, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 5:00 - 7:00pm 4291 Cascade Rd. SE. Grand Rapids, MI 49546. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at 11:00am at East Congregational Church, 1005 Giddings Ave. SE Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Service will be officiated by Reverend Lauretta Crelly. Interment at Graceland Memorial Park & Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods or East Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
