Robert Clayton Napieralski passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 77. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 54 years Pauline; daughters Diana (Nick) Klein, Monica (Jared) Edvenson, Angel Hayden; grandchildren Emma Joppe, Owen Joppe, Sam Joppe, Wesley Hayden, and Hannah Edvenson, and his faithful friend Wayne Nowak and many brothers and sisters.
Bob was proud to be number seven of 15 siblings. He honorably served in the United States Air Force. From a young age, Bob exhibited an entrepreneurial spirit. His first venture in business was selling papers at the age of 10. He then moved on to foot long hot dogs. He graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in business management. Later, he went on to sell business forms before launching Great Lakes Business Forms which became Greatland Corporation. After failing at retirement, Bob saw the need to bring jobs to West Michigan so he started another adventure that became Nap Tags and is now Nap’s Enterprises. When he wasn’t working you could find him cheering on the East Grand Rapids football team and traveling to visit his close friends, Enzo and Giancarlo, in Italy. He will be missed by the many lives he touched.
The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11am on Friday March 24th at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel 2 Towers.
