Ronald S. Anger

Ronald Scott Anger went home to Jesus on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the age of 61.  He was born on December 30, 1961 in Midland, Michigan.  Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years Angela Anger, daughter Amanda Christine Anger, son Alexander Beal Anger, mother and father Ann and Rodney Seeds, brothers and sisters Steven Anger, Richard Anger, Tina (Mihail) Gheorghiu, Kimberly (Jahn) de Blecourt, Rodney John (Shiree) Seeds, Tom (Julie) Seeds and many nieces and nephews. 

Ron was an entrepreneur and a real estate investor, running his own businesses for many years. His faith in Jesus played a large part in his life and Ron believed in ministering to people from all walks of life. He loved baseball, Michigan State University football, and British television. Ron had been an Eagle Scout with Order of the Arrow distinction and believed in the value of Scouting. He enjoyed bicycling, ancestry research, and traveling with his family. Ron’s biggest source of pride was his children, who along with his wife were his treasure. We know that Ron is rejoicing in heaven, having been reunited with his beloved grandparents, George & Daisy Heusted and Vivian Yaxley, as well as special friends Jack Moyer and Sally Chapman, and his “very best friend” Smokey Bones, his “loveable kee-kat.”

The funeral service honoring his life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 22nd at Calvary Church Chapel, 707 E. Beltline Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.  Visitation will be at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, on Friday, April 21st from 5-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
