Ronald McDowell

Ronald Alfred McDowell, age 93 of Ada, MI. Went to be with his Lord on Monday February 1st, 2021 Ron was a valued employee of Reynolds Metals for 40 Years before retiring. Ron and his wife enjoyed traveling and were members of Sunshine Church. Ron always had a smile on his face and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed living on Big Crooked Lake, sitting on his deck and waving to boats passing by. He enjoyed listening to Country and Gospel music and loved playing with his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Elaine, and parents Glenn and Madeline. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Ron (Sue) McDowell. Grandsons and Great Grandchildren Justin (Karen) McDowell Claire, Clayton, and Cloe. Ryan (Margaret) McDowell Isabelle, Laila, and Mia. He has preceded his Brother and Sisters Roger, Donna (Stub) Lowing, Joyce (Al) Hedberg , Anne *(Jim) Porritt, Jim (Donna) McDowell. Many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Faith Hospice and Trillium Woods for their loving care and support of Ron. Memorial donations can be made to Faith Hospice and Trillium Woods. Memorial Service information will be given at a later date.
