On Wednesday April 13, 2022 Rose Marie Goldner, loving Mother and Grandmother passed away at the age of 91. Rose was born June 17, 1930 in Flint MI and was the last surviving of her six siblings. Rose married Edward Goldner in 1960 and they were together 44 years until his death in 2004. They raised three children Gary, Janet and Karen in East Lansing and were blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rose spent her last working years as an administrative assistant in the Medical Humanities department at Michigan State University. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Oscoda on Lake Huron and falling asleep listening to the sounds of the waves on the beach. She also enjoyed donating to the local casinos and looked forward every year to seeing how her money was spent. Rose was full of spirit with an independent nature that served her to the very end. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday April 17th at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

God, full of mercy, Who dwells above, give rest on the wings of the Divine Presence , amongst the holy, pure and glorious who shine like the sky, to the soul of Rose Marie (Sharn), for whom prayer was offered in the memory of her soul.
