Ruth Reimersma

Ruth Schaner Reimersma, age 89, of Ada, passed away October 26, 2021.  Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Schaner and her parents, Ivan and Julia Martin.  Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Reimersma; sister Betty McClure; sons Daniel Reimersma (Christine Norton) and Daniel Koehn; grandson Dillon Foster (Taylor Winchester); granddaughter Lily Snyder, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Ruth worked for Old Kent Bank for 13 years and also sold real estate for 28 years.  Ruth enjoyed shopping, camping, playing cards and time with family.

The service to remember and celebrate Ruth’s life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 12pm at Metcalf & Jonkhoff, 4291 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.  Friends and family are invited to visit with her family beginning at 10am.
