Sally Lynne Patterson

Sally Lynne Patterson (Vader), aged 80, passed away on July 2, 2023.  Sally was born to the late A. James and Josephine B. Vader (Cotton) on March 25, 1943, and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sally graduated from East Grand Rapids High School.

She was survived by her sons and their wives, Brad (Anne) Pinter, Greg (Kassy) Pinter, and Jason (Katy) Pinter as well as her grandchildren, Grace, Caroline, Maggie, Ryan, Adam, Charlie, Ben, and Molly. Sally was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis A. Darling (Vader).

Sally spoke fondly of her childhood memories on Reed’s Lake and ice skating in front of Rose’s Restaurant. Throughout her life, she lived in several locations in both Michigan and Florida. Her final years were spent in Houghton Lake, MI where she enjoyed the company of her friends, eating at local restaurants and frequenting the Houghton Lake Community Center.

The family will hold a private interment at Graceland Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Grand Rapids, MI.
