Sally J. Taylor

Sally Jane Taylor, age 80 was born January 24,1943 in Jackson Michigan to the late Howard Woods Sr & Dorothy Miller. She graduated from Jackson High School and would later on move to Grand Rapids where she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital as a nurses aide. She married James Lee Taylor in 1970. She obtained her cosmetology license and loved baking for family and friends. Sally took her final rest on November 13, 2023. She leaves behind her only child, Chatanna (Cedric) Welch; Grandchildren, Taravonna Lasenby (Reginal Mabry), Cedric Welch Jr, Tristan Welch; 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of siblings, family and friends. 

The funeral service will be held on Monday November 20, 2023 at 11am at the Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation from 10-11am.
