Sharon Thorpe

Sharon Ione Thorpe, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday October 10, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her 3 children, Andrew (Gail), Amy, Alan (Jill), 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters Carol (Bill), Jamie, brother Don (JoAnn), and her special friends Jennifer and Nicki.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Skip, and her parents Virginia and Stanley Wilson. 

Sharon was devoted to her church family at Ada Bible and her sisters in Christ from her bible study.  She loved art and had a passion for painting.  She enjoyed many wonderful summers at Crystal Lake with family and friends.  She loved to travel and enjoyed many wonderful adventures with Skip.  She will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday October 15, 2024 at Ada Bible Church Cascade Campus, 8899 Cascade Rd SE, Ada, MI 49301.  Visitation for family and friends will be Monday October 14th from 5-7pm at the Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home and also from 10-11am on Tuesday at the church.   Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Ada Bible Church.
