Susette worked as a trilingual secretary and bookkeeper in Sosua, and in the U.S. she was a successful real estate broker with Greenridge Realty, a job she relished.
Susette will be missed by her family. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Tauber-Nguyen (Anh) and Suzanne M. Tauber; her grandsons, Dr. David Nguyen (Joleen) and Joseph Nguyen; her great granddaughter, Leila; her sister, Sonja Rosenbaum; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
