Timothy K. Jackson

Timothy Kay Jackson, age 70, of Lowell, MI passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

Tim was born in Altoona, PA on May 4, 1955, the son of Todd and Patricia Jackson. He graduated from Hollidaysburg High School with the Class of 1973, and attended Lancaster Bible College where he met his wife, Colleen Jackson (Osborn), graduating with a B.A. of Science in Bible in 1977. He then attended Grace Seminary where he graduated with a M.A. in New Testament Theology (Th.M.) and an M.A. in Counseling. Tim and his family then moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 1987 where he worked at Our Daily Bread Ministries for 30 years, opened his counseling practice Still Waters Counseling and became a long-time active member and men’s ministry leader at Ada Bible Church.

Tim was an outdoorsman who loved spending time in nature hunting and fishing. He loved people well and spent most of his time with his family, friends, serving in the men’s ministry at their church, and helping others through his counseling practice of over 37 years.

On July 23, 1977, Tim was united in marriage to Colleen D. Jackson (Osborn). They had just celebrated 48 years of marriage three days before his passing. Tim is survived by his wife, Colleen; son, Tyler Jackson and wife, Abby and their children, Lucy and Gabe; daughter, Tamara Stafford and husband Jim and their daughter, Joanna; daughter, Tracey Kearney and husband, James and their children, Calloway and Lillian.

Friends may visit with Tim’s family on Sunday, August 3, 2025,4-7 PM at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. The funeral service celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Rd. SE, Ada, MI 49301 where friends and family may gather from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
