Vonna Pinckney

Vonna Marie Pinckney passed away on Friday September 29, 2023 at the age of 93.  She was born on December 28, 1929 in Lake City, MI to the late Ernest and Lena Hill.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Larry Pinckney (Jean), of Grand Rapids,MI and Diane Holt (Sid), of Burlington, NC; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as many special nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband George Pinckney of 53 years and son Ronald Pinckney.

Vonna never met a stranger, her cup was full to the brim. She lit up any room she walked into and was well loved by all.

Thank you to hospice and the Vigil Volunteers at Clark Retirement who helped make Vonna’s  final day peaceful.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services were held.
