Wilbert "Bill" S. Kloostra

Wilbert S. “Bill” Kloostra, age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Edison Christian Health Center. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Bill was a graduate of the Kendall College of Art and Design and was a renowned designer throughout his entire career. He is survived by his husband of 41 years, Marc Bohland; his sister, Reta Livingsten; nieces and nephews, Scott, Jill, Doug, Erin, and their spouses; sister-in-law, Michelle; brothers-in-law, Matt, Jay, Scott, and Craig as well as many close friends. Bill’s family extends special thanks to the staff of Edison Christian Health Center for their special care of Bill. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, 3:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 47 Jefferson Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 where friends may visit with Bill’s family from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Burial in Washington Park Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be directed to First-Hand Aid or Edison Christian Health Center.
