Clifford Lee Doublestein

Clifford Lee Doublestein, aged 87, of Wyoming passed away Thursday July 21, 2016 in Spring Lake MI.  Cliff was born in Otsego, MI on April 4, 1929 to his parents Floyd and Velma (Belcher) and was a life long resident of Wyoming, MI. He served in the Air Force from 1948 to 1950 and was employed by Kentwood Public School System and PB Gast.  He was also an Envoy member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and an Auxiliary member of VFW Post #7581.  Clifford was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, parents, and his infant son Todd and brothers, Robert, Charles, Erwin, and Duane.  Surviving are his Sons Greg (Jan), Barry (Vivian), daughters Beth (Steven) Strayer, Diane (Kevin) Wiersma, Deborah Rockwell, brothers William (Karen), Bernard (MaryAnn), companion Jane Wisniewski, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Celebration of life ceremony with military honors will take place Tuesday July 26, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Wayland VFW Post #7581, 735 S. Main St. Wayland, MI 49348.  Private interment has taken place.
