I met Dave only once. He came into my place of business. He talked my ear off and I felt like we were friends when he left. A very nice man. Prayers to the family

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is heavy for your family and mine, even though I never had the pleasure of meeting Dave. My mother, Pat Barnick and stepfather Joe Parini are grieving deeply. May God easy your pain and theirs during this hard time. I can tell by Dave's smile that he was a one and only. God Bless.

I inadvertently left 2 names off the card for the flowers we sent--Sandra Bloom and Duke Tuchman. We all loved Dave--how could you not! I have so many memories of his warmth, kindness and gentleness--I was 6 years old when he married my sister Sandy. I remember going on his show when he was Bozo the Clown--all the kids loved him and he loved all the kids; how he built a wheelchair for his dog Ginny when she jumped off the couch and broke her back; all the Thanksgivings spent together. He was always there for me as a brother--not just a brother-in-law. We were all so glad for him when he found love again with Linda and the kids--he was so happy! We will all miss him!

Dave was one of the kindest, most gentle men we've ever known. A true professional in broadcasting and a thoughtful and caring colleague. Everyone who remembers him from television and the investment world joins his family in mourning the loss of a truly fine man and a great friend.
