I know I am speaking for the Central High School class of 1941 but I want Doris's family to know what she did for us the past few years. Most of us are beyond the point of handling class reunions but she stepped in and very capably and charmingly got us together at North Kent Country Club. Such devotion and gracefulness is rare and we will miss her. Like you will. Our deepest sympathy to you. Eleanor Strom

There are no words worthy to describe this vibrant, witty, intelligent, loving soul. Her light shone so brightly in this world one could easily have been blinded by her radiance. She was a guiding light for so many and was a healing force in my life.

Although I knew this day would come I thought that if anyone could live forever it would be my beloved "Mama G." I have such fond memories of family visits and wonderful emails and cards expressing our love for one another.

Live on she shall...eternally in the hearts and sweet memories of those she touched so very deeply.

My condolences to her family who I cherish and to her dogs who were her soulmates. The world will be a little dimmer without her here but her light will shine on us from where she has gone to rest. A new angel has taken her place in Heaven so that she may continue to guide us with the brightness of her Light.

I will miss you and love you Forever, Mama G..... your "Mungie"

Marti and Joe: I am so sad. I cannot tell you how many wonderful memories I have! Doris was nice to me when so many were not, and, yes, I probably turned my head once in a while (ok, daily) about dog rules. We talked tennis all the time. I loved Doris. What a wonderful life!

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, Marti. Ken and I met her a couple of times and thought she was lovely. I'd thought of her often and wish I'd been able to get to know her better. We're thinking of you and wishing strength and courage for you.
